It is with deepest regret that we inform you of the death of our dear friend and colleague, Martin Brutosky, who passed away suddenly this past weekend. Martin was more than a successful education technology entrepreneur. He was one of the most decent, caring individuals we've had the pleasure of knowing. Our industry has lost a true innovator and he will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his wife, Dianne, his family and friends.
We are most fortunate to have John Greene, Martin’s former business partner, on our team to help ProExam fill the enormous void left by Martin’s passing.
Join us on Tuesday, December 13, at 7:30–8:00 p.m. Eastern time for an interactive conversation with Jonathan Martin, author, consultant, and expert in assessment involving social and emotional competencies. Martin, who was featured in ASCD’s most recent issue of Policy Priorities: A Bright Future with SEL, will share his perspective on social and emotional measures related to ESSA’s accountability requirements. Participants will have plenty of opportunity to ask questions and engage with the speaker during this time.
Walt Jimenez, Senior Vice President, Assessment Development, Center for Innovative Assessments at ProExam and Lara Henneman, Program Manager at International Youth Foundation (IYF), will be discussing and presenting a live demo about a new Work Readiness Assessment and credential at the Global Center for Youth Employment Fall Quarterly Meeting. ProExam and IYF are partnering on this initiative.
